Why Chile?
Chile is one of the most stable countries in South America, in terms of economy, infrastructure, etc. It is similar to the US in many ways.

Where are you going?
I am traveling to Santiago, the capital city of Chile, in South America.

Are you studying abroad?
Kind of? But not really.

I am participating in the International Experience Program at UC, which partners with CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange).

I am living in a homestay, and working an internship with a design consultancy named DEO
Do you speak Spanish?
Well, technically, yes. My six years of studying Spanish in school has made me "academically proficient".
​
However, Chilean Spanish is notoriously unique. Not only do they speak rapidly, but they also have a lot of slang unique to them.
How do you pronounce your last name?
"Baa" like sheep
