A travel blog

Welcome to my blog! I created this to document my 12 weeks in Santiago de Chile and (maybe) share it with others. Hope you enjoy reading about my experience and thanks for checking this out!

Journey to Santiago (Take II)

Let's try this again!

The following day, I woke up at 6:30 am (which felt very early) to this incredible sunrise

The flight from Cincinnati to Toronto went without delay this time. However, due to the previous day's technical issues, I had picked an earlier flight with an 8 hour layover in Toronto. Luckily Toronto Pearson International Airport is a beautiful airport with generous amounts of seating, power outlets, iPads, restaurants, wifi, and natural lighting.

On the ten hour flight, no one sat next to me, so I laid down over 3 seats and passed out. I slept for 8 straight hours and woke up to breakfast and the sun rising over the mountains.

When the plane landed, the flight attendants wished us a happy Fiesta de Patrias (Chilean Independence day) and everyone cheered.
